RENTAL RESERVATIONS: Reservations must be made in person, by email, mail or faxed. No reservations will be accepted by telephone.
DEPOSIT: To cover damages and late fees, a $100.00 deposit is required at the time of reservation and an additional deposit of $100.00 is required when the trailer is picked up. A signed credit card imprint (excluding American Express) is also required at pickup. When the trailer is returned on time, clean and free of damage, the entire deposit will be refunded and the credit card imprint will be voided. A chart listing damage and clean-up fees is located in the rental office. Note: Certain events require a $500.00 deposit due to past history of excessive damage.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation notices must be received 7 DAYS PRIOR to the reservation date in order to receive a full refund.IF NOT, the $100.00 deposit is FORFEITED.
INSURANCE: The renter must show proof of liability insurance as well as a valid drivers license in order to pull the trailer. ALL DRIVERS MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD. If damage occurs while the renter is pulling the trailer, the renter is responsible for reporting those damages to their own liability insurance company. The renter is also responsible for damages to the unit while not in transit.
PROPANE GAS: A propane gas tank will be furnished at no charge. The renter will not be responsible for bringing the trailer back with a full propane tank. The renter will assume all responsibility for use of the propane.
WIRING: Rental trailers are equipped with a 7-way plug. If needed , we can install a 7-way harness on your vehicle for a fee. The cost of wiring will vary with each vehicle. These items will then become the property of the renter. If we are going to wire your vehicle, please allow ample time for this process.
HITCH: The renter is required to furnish their own 2” hitch ball. We can install a hitch if needed. Please call for a price quote. The 10′ trailer weighs approximately 1,700 pounds. If you have a small vehicle, consult your owners manual for towing capabilities. The top of the hitch ball must be between 14″ and 20″ from the ground.
HOURS OF SERVICE: Trailers should be PICKED UP Monday through Saturday from either 9:00 am to 11:00 am or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. RENTALS MAY NOT BE PICKED UP ON SUNDAY. Rentals may be RETURNED Monday through Saturday from either 9:00 am to 11:00 am or 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, or on Sunday by 4:00 pm. We are closed on Sundays but will check at 4:00 pm to see that units were returned. The unit will not be checked in or deposits refunded until Monday. Please make an appointment for either a morning or afternoon pick-up when you make a reservation.
DEMONSTRATION & CHECK OUT PROCEDURE: Please be aware that it may take up to an hour to pick up the trailer to allow time for us to go through the trailer and demonstrate the operation of it. You will be required to sign an inspection sheet citing the condition of the trailer. If you see any damage, we will repair it or make a note of it so you will not be held responsible. If damage is not brought to our attention and noted on the inspection sheet during this walk-through, the renter will be held responsible for paying for the damage upon return of the unit.
PAYMENT: Deposit and rent are to be paid in full either in advance or at time of pick up. Rent will be charged each night the unit is in possession of the renter. Rental day ends at 4:00 pm. Rental deposits that are made within 7 days of pick up must be paid by cash or credit card. NO REFUNDS WILL BE MADE FOR TRAILERS BROUGHT BACK EARLY. If any part of the rent or deposit was paid by check, the deposits will not be refunded for 10 business days after the trailer is returned.
MINIMUM RENTAL: There is a 4-night minimum on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. A 3-night minimum is required the rest of the year.
NIGHTLY RATES: $85.00 PER NIGHT, $490.00 PER WEEK and $70.00 PER NIGHT THEREAFTER.
